One-on-One Lessons

One-on-one lessons give athletes focused attention, detailed correction, and a training plan built around their individual needs. These sessions are ideal for players who want to improve specific skills, build confidence, prepare for team opportunities, or work through mechanical and mental parts of the game.

Small Group Lessons

Small group lessons are available for groups of up to four athletes. These sessions are a strong fit for teammates or players at a similar level who want competitive reps, skill development, and a high-energy training environment while still receiving individual coaching.

Single Sessions + Recurring Training

Athletes can schedule individual sessions or build consistency through recurring lessons. Recurring training is recommended for players who want steady development, continued accountability, and long-term improvement throughout the season or offseason.

Catching lessons focus on the details that help players become confident, reliable leaders behind the plate. Athletes work on receiving, blocking, throwing mechanics, footwork, framing, communication, game awareness, and the mental toughness needed to manage pressure in high-stakes moments.

These sessions are designed to help catchers improve their technique while also building the confidence to lead the field, control the game, and stay composed from the first pitch to the final out.

Catching Lessons

Hitting lessons help athletes build a stronger, more confident approach at the plate. Sessions may focus on swing mechanics, timing, lower-half power, hand path, contact consistency, pitch recognition, approach, and confidence in the batter’s box.

The goal is to help each hitter understand her swing, make adjustments, and step into the box with a plan. Whether an athlete is working on fundamentals or preparing for more competitive pitching, Coach Mulkey helps players build the mechanics and mindset needed to compete.

Hitting Lessons

Fielding and outfield lessons focus on footwork, glove work, throwing mechanics, angles, reads, transitions, body control, and game-speed decision-making. Athletes work on becoming more consistent, more athletic, and more confident in defensive situations.

For outfielders, training may include drop steps, routes, first-step reactions, communication, throwing through targets, and reading the ball off the bat. For infield and general fielding development, sessions focus on clean fundamentals, quick reactions, and making routine plays with confidence.

Fielding + Outfield Lessons

Speed and agility sessions help athletes move more efficiently, react faster, and become more explosive on the field. Training may focus on acceleration, footwork, lateral movement, body control, base running, first-step quickness, and overall athleticism.

These sessions are designed to support the physical demands of softball, helping players become quicker, more balanced, and more prepared for game-speed movement.

Speed + Agility Training

The mental side of the game matters. Coach Mulkey works with athletes on confidence, composure, focus, accountability, resilience, and learning how to respond after mistakes.

Mental game development is woven into lessons because athletes need more than physical tools to compete. They need the ability to trust their training, handle pressure, stay coachable, and keep working through challenges.
